How to fix a 'multiple matching tokens error' when using Azure SSO

If your company uses Azure for Single sign-on authentication, and you receive the following error message "Login Error multiple_matching_tokens_detected: The cache contains multiple tokens satisfying the requirements," there is a quick fix.

  • Close AVAIL
  • In the File Explorer, go to %localappdata%\Avail
  • Delete the file TokenCache.dat
  • Relaunch AVAIL
  • The user will be asked to sign-in again with their Azure credentials, but after that they should be logged in automatically
