How to move Harvested content to a different network folder (after already harvesting it)

If you want to move Harvested content to a new source folder on your network, after you've already previously harvested it, the recommended method is to let Harvest do that for you.

The following scenario is supported in Harvest by design:

When you Harvest to destination folder X on your network, for example, and publish to Channel X, and then Harvest again later to folder Y, you can observe that the content in Channel X then points to source content in folder Y.

Harvest handles this re-pathing for you automatically.
