How Can I Remove an Add-in from Revit?

Debugging, testing, or uninstalls

If you need to remove an add-in from Revit, for debugging purposes or otherwise, this can easily be done within Windows File Explorer.

Simply navigate to %programdata%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\[Revit version year]\

Removing any of these .addin files will disable that add-in after the next Revit restart

We strongly recommend copying them to a folder in a different location to avoid needing to reinstall.
