      How Can I Remove an Add-in from Revit?

      Debugging, testing, or uninstalls

      How to Remove a Revit Add-in:

      If you need to remove an add-in from Revit, for debugging purposes or otherwise, follow these steps within Windows File Explorer:

      1. Navigate to %programdata%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\[Revit version year]\
      2. Remove any of the ".addin" files (pictured below) to disable that add-in after the next Revit restart.

      Please Advise: We strongly recommend copying them to a folder in a different location to avoid needing to reinstall.
