Harvest for AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Use Harvest mode to extract DWG Block Libraries from AutoCAD files and publish them to AVAIL channels.

Running Harvest in AutoCAD & Civil 3D

Similar to the AVAIL for Revit Harvest feature, Harvest mode will only be available for Publishers in AVAIL.
  1. In Harvest Mode, Publishers can search their block library and create a Harvest queue by clicking the check button next to the item name.

  2. Before clicking Run, be sure to verify your Harvest Settings by clicking the gear icon. Then select a destination channel, and distribution location.
  3. Under Block Placement Settings, publishers can select if users will be prompted for Scale or Rotation, or if the object will Explode on Insert. 

    * Additional options include Preserve Colors and the ability to select the Insertion Layer.

  4. Be sure to click Save Settings.
  5. Click Run once your settings are saved and you have finished building your Harvest queue. 
  6. You will now see your individual blocks appear in your destination channel in AVAIL.
